Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practised in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years.

Very fine needles are inserted at specific points and then left for about 20 minutes, thereby stimulating the body's own healing powers. It can be particularly helpful for some forms of cancer as it can relieve many of the side effects of orthodox cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy combines massage techniques with pure essential oils which are specially blended to suit each individual client.

Aromatherapy eases stress, relieves muscular tension, encourages circulation and stimulates lymphatic drainage helping to eliminate toxins from the body. Regular treatments can help calm the mind, relax the body and boost energy levels.

Colour

Colours can get to the heart of an issue, it can assist in accessing your potential and help correct subtle imbalances that underlie disharmony. A consultation focuses on positive awareness - it does not diagnose or treat, but it can gently pin point areas of the body, mind and spirit that are in need of love and attention - your love and attention.

Healing

Healing is now one of the most widely practised complementary therapies.

In simple terms, healing involves a transfer of energy between the healer and the patient to engage the latter's own self-healing ability. This is done by concentrating on the patient with "focussed intent" and panning the hands, at varying distances, over the surface of the body. Sometimes light touch is employed.
